Given since there’s no confirmations on the release of J. Cole’s solo album, it’s refreshing to know that he still has something on the way.

In the YouTube chat for the “Middle Child” video yesterday, J. Cole revealed that his upcoming compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers 3 is pending completing. Cole commented, “ROTD3 is being finished right now, post-production s**t…Tracking out songs, sequencing then editing, then we gotta mix. We’re shooting for April.” Cole also revealed that he is taking a break from touring this year due to the exhaustion from last year’s KOD touring. No worries! It’s confirmed that he’ll still be performing at the Dreamville Fest, also scheduled in April after being postponed last year.

The upcoming second compilation album includes contributions by Dreamville artists, J. Cole himself, Bas, Cozz, Omen, Lute, Ari Lennox, EarthGang, and J.I.D. The recording sessions for ROTD3 were exciting to see as rappers and producers like T.I. DJ Khaled, Ludacris, Akon, Rapsody, Dreezy, Big KRIT, Childish Major and many more participated in the recording sessions, according to vibe.com

It is obvious that 2019 is Cole’s year after dominating several feature tracks such as “A lot,” “Say Na,” “How Did I get here” and more, therefore anything that comes from the MC will be highly anticipated.
