Reginae Carter, daughter to Lil Wayne, has grew up in the spotlight right before our eyes. From watching her celebrate her Sweet 16, to her 21st birthday, and then becoming an official ambassador for Rihanna‘s lingerie line in January-Reginae is officially grown.

During a recent interview, Reginae opens up about how her parents reacted to her posing in the lingerie ad. A surprise to many, Weezy didn’t mention it, but her reality star mom, Toya Johnson… didn’t feel the same way. “When I first posted my mom was like, ‘Okay, don’t get too lively with the lingerie,’” Carter recalled.
“My daddy never really mentioned it. I don’t know what he thinks about it, but my mom is like, ‘Right now, don’t take no more clothes off.’”
According to Nae, this was an opportunity of a lifetime for her. “I don’t cry over nobody; Rihanna is the only person I ever cried over when she performs,” she told us. “I just love her. I hit her up after she did the Diamond Ball and I was like, ‘Okay, now you got to let me come next time,’ and she was like, ‘I got you girl.’ And not too far after that, they hit me up to be an ambassador.”
Continued Carter, “Meeting Rihanna is like going outside after being in quarantine for three months. She smells really good. Every time I see Rihanna she gives me hugs. She’s so cool and down to earth. Her whole persona is so sweet and humbling and very welcoming.”
Whichever way you put it, Nae is killing it and keeping social media entertained while we’re all at home.
