A home security footage of Richard Sherman is going viral.

In the footage, Sherman can repeatedly be seen banging the door of his in-laws’ house. Sherman was demanding his father-in-law, Raymond Moss, to come out of the house. Then Sherman tried to break the door with his arms and shoulder. You can hear other people in the house screaming

Eventually, Sherman walked away. However, he was arrested later on outside of the house by Redmond police officers. Sherman was held without bail. According to Yahoo, “Sherman faces charges of criminal trespassing, malicious mischief, driving under the influence and resisting arrest, all misdemeanors, while a felony charge of ‘burglary domestic violence’ has been dropped.”

Take a look at the footage:

ESPN reports Sherman was drunk and threatened to kill himself during the confrontation with his wife’s family. It’s not clear what it was about. However, his wife told the Seattle Times, “My kids were not harmed in the incident. He’s a good person, and this is not his character. We’re doing all right, just trying to get him out. I want people to know no one was injured.”

Sherman spoke out and apologized. He said he’s “deeply remorseful” for his actions, and he’s not proud. He admitted he needs mental help. Take a look:
