Rihanna was in hot water following her Savage x Fenty fashion show.Rih is accused of culturally appropriating Islamic culture for playing “Doom” a song performed by London producer Coucou Chloe. According to fans online, the song is a version of a hadith, and consists of “highly revered records of the traditions or sayings of the Prophet Muhammad,” which reportedly make it extremely offensive for anyone’s use outside of the Muslim culture.https://twitter.com/TAEHYUNGGOODBOI/status/1312869155759173632Once Rih was made aware of the accusations, she jumped online to issue an apology to the community. She writes, "I'd like to thank the Muslim community for pointing out a huge oversight that was unintentionally offensive in our savage x fenty show. I would more importantly like to apologize to you for this honest, yet careless mistake. We understand that we have hurt many of our Muslim brothers and sisters, and i'm incredibly disheartened by this! I do not play with any kind of disrespect toward God or any religion and therefore the use of the song in our project was completely irresponsible! Moving forward we will make sure nothing like this ever happens again. Thank you for your forgiveness and understanding.."Take a look.https://www.instagram.com/p/CGAMmjgh4qo/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
