Rihanna the troll comes through again!
For months, the Navy have been asking RiRi when she believes the new project will be released. We now know it will be some time in 2019, but have yet to know the exact status of the album.
Over the weekend, she decided to give fans a taste by sharing new footage of herself in the studio working on her project.
Last year, Vogue reported that the singer was planning a reggae album as writer Chioma Nnandi stated.
“She plans to make a reggae album,” Nnandi wrote. “Though it’s too soon to name a full list of collaborators, one early influence may be Supa Dups, the Jamaican-born record producer who has worked with such dancehall greats as Beenie Man, Sean Paul, and Elephant Man.”
There have also been rumors that she is planning to release a double album, with one being dedicated to reggae-influenced music, and the other being more pop.
