RIP: Bay Area Artist Lil Yase Reportedly Passed Away

This is so sad. Another young rapper has reportedly died at the hands of senseless gun violence. According to reports and Lil Yase’s social media, Lil Yase, 25 (real name Mark Antonyyo Alexander) was shot and killed Saturday (Nov. 28) morning. The Jasmine Brand reports his body was discovered in the southern part of the East Bay, miles away from where he was last seen.The report says Lil Yase was hanging with friends at the studio, said he’d be right back, less than two hours later, it was reported he was fatally shot.
