This is so sad.

Another young rapper has reportedly died at the hands of senseless gun violence. According to reports and Lil Yase’s social media, Lil Yase, 25 (real name Mark Antonyyo Alexander) was shot and killed Saturday (Nov. 28) morning. The Jasmine Brand reports his body was discovered in the southern part of the East Bay, miles away from where he was last seen.

The report says Lil Yase was hanging with friends at the studio, said he’d be right back, less than two hours later, it was reported he was fatally shot. The report also says Lil Yase didn’t have any known enemies and wasn’t aware of any problems in the streets.

This is what social media had to say:

The remix featured other California rappers such as G-Val, Lil Blood, Nef The Pharaoh, Mozzy, and Yatta. He also has other joints, Demon,” “What You Mean,” “Yeah Yeah,” and more.
