RIP: Chadwick Boseman’s Last Tweet Is Now The Most Liked-Tweet Of All Time

Rest in Peace, Chadwick Boseman.

We previously reported, that Chadwick passed away at the age of 43. The Black Panther star was reportedly battling colon cancer for the past four years.

Boseman passed away in his Los Angeles home surrounded by his wife, family, and loved ones by his side. A statement about the actor was posted to Twitter.  “A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and several more- all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.”

The actors final tweet sent by his estate is now the most-liked tweet in Twitter’s history.

The tweet has over 5 million likes and 2 million retweets in just 20 hours. Twitter’s official page also acknowledged this accomplishment. “Most liked Tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King.”
