Eminem’s longtime stunt double, Ryan Shepard, has reportedly passed away at age 40.

According to reports, Ryan was attempting to cross the street when he was struck and killed by a pickup truck.

You may remember Shepard for being Eminem’s stunt double starting in the early 2000s. Aside from being his stunt double, Sherpard also used to stand in for photos and show up to various events as Slim Shady.

Back in 2002, Shepard joined Eminem on his ‘Anger Management Tour.’ He joined Em in both Japan and Europe the following year.

Following his stunt double career- Shepard’s brother says Ryan eventually landed a job at Disney as a ride mechanical engineer and soon moved to Elon Musk’s SpaceX as a test automation engineer.

He leaves behind 2 children. May he rest peacefully.
