Rest in Peace to the late Mac Miller
On Friday September 7th, the rapper passed away at 26 years old due to an alleged drug overdose.
While many celebrities, fans, friends, and family mourn his death, according to Billboard and Nielson Music, Mac Miller’s music streams have sky rocketed 970 percent.
Miller’s streaming numbers have bumped to 32. 5 million from 3.04 million since Friday.
Favorites such as ‘Self Care, ’ ‘Best Day Ever,’ and ‘Hurt Feeling’s are three of the top five songs streamed.
Today (September 11th 2018) a vigil will be held by independent label Nightfall Records at Miller’s favorite childhood park in Pittsburgh.
