According to news sources, a white news anchor from Oklahoma City said that her black colleague looked like a gorilla. During the show, the news story they were talking about was on gorillas and the anchor said that her cohost looks like the gorilla on TV.
The host received tons of backlash and she publicly apologized to the host.
