The dominoes continue to fall as women from all over the country step out of the shadows to reveal their experiences with sexual assault.

Russell Simmons has already stepped down from his empire following an explosive report on an incident back in the early 1990’s. Now four women are reportedly alleging that Simmons had raped them on separate occasions and telling their story.

According to a story from the New York Times, former Def Jam executive Drew Dixon recounted cases of sexual assault and rape in 1995. She claims that he would regularly expose his penis to her and also alleges that he raped her in his downtown Manhattan apartment. She claims that L.A. Reid had also sexually assaulted her.

Singer Tina Baker says she was raped by Simmons when he was her manager in the early 1990’s, “I didn’t sing for almost a year.”

Toni Sallie was a music journalist in the late 1980’s where in the fall of 1988 she claims he invited her to his apartment for a party. When she arrived she noticed the apartment was empty except herself and Simmons, he led her to his bedroom.

“He pushed me on the bed and jumped on top of me, and physically attacked me,” she said. “We were fighting. I said no.” He raped her, she said, and a year later attacked her at a music conference in South Florida

There are others that have come forward as a part of separate reports by the Los Angeles Times and Hollywood Reporter.

Simmons responded to those claims with a post on Instagram denying he had raped any woman.
