The entire world is dealing with a lot of shocking news and the sudden death of Floyd Mayweather’s ex, Josie Harris was even more surprising.

We covered the story, yesterday (March 11), Harris, who was 40-years-old, was found unconscious in her car and pronounced dead shortly after officials arrived at her California home around 10 PM. Authorities are investigating the tragedy as death and not a homicide, they don’t suspect any foul play.

Harris and Mayweather share three children together, Koraun Mayweather, Zion Mayweather, and Jirah Mayweather. All of the children changed their Instagram avatar to a picture of their mom. All of them posted a throwback picture of when they were kids with both of their parents in the picture.

The mother of Mayweather’s daughter YaYa, Melissia Rene, wrote a heartfelt message via social media. Rene commended Harris for doing a great job raising the kids, including her daughter, YaYa. Rene said her heart is hurting especially for the children.

“This one hurt…. I’m typing this with tears in my eyes. Josie, I want you to know you’ve done such a great job with the kids. You’ve always loved YaYa like she was one of your own. I’ll never forget the last message you sent YaYa about us coming to visit you. You have my word to always be there for the kids if they need ANYTHING. My heart hurts for the kids right now, but I know you will watch over & protect them. May God bless your soul RIP #josielharris”

We continue to keep the family in our hearts.
