According to news sources, an Atlanta rapper, Archie Eversole, was fatally shot. The gunman was his brother, according to DeKalb County police.
Police officials say that Archie (birth name Arthur), was shot on March 25 on Golf Vista Circle at a Chevron gas station. He was taken to a nearby hospital but unfortunately died on April 3, TMZ confirmed with a family member. Archie’s official cause of death hasn’t been revealed as of yet.
Investigators say Eversole’s brother, Alexander Kraus, shot him and has been arrested got murder. He’s currently in Dekalb County Jail. A motive hasn’t publically been revealed.

Archie is known for his hit single “We Ready” ft. Bubba Sparxxx. The song became one of the most popular anthems at football games and other sporting events, according to TMZ.

When Archie was 17, he recorded his first album, Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style, and it went gold. In 2018, Archie was selected by the soccer team Atlanta United to write their theme song, “United We Conquer.”
