The Coronavirus is still out there impacting the lives of many!Houston native Scarface, was diagnosed with COVID-19 at the end of March and has said this was the “craziest” feeling he’s ever experienced. During an interview back in March, he told the Geto Boys group member that he felt like he was going to die.The following month in April, Scarface shared with fans that due to kidney failure, he was on dialysis. The Jasmine Brand reports he said, “I’m glad to be alive. I fought COVID double bilateral pneumonia – both lungs – and kidney failure in my house.”The article also reports Scarface is still fighting for his life on his road to recovery. The virus affected his kidneys so badly that he has to do dialysis (where they take out all of his blood, clean it, and put it back) four days a week, three hours a day now. In a recent interview, he said, “COVID attacked my lungs first, and then it attacked my kidneys and knocked them out. I got full lung recovery, but my kidneys never came back.”He’s reportedly out of the hospital now and not experiencing shortness of breath but he still has no sense of smell or taste. He also said he doesn’t have a lot of strength in his legs and he lost nearly 30 pounds.Take a look at Scarface's interview back in March:https://www.instagram.com/p/B-Nr1iJhp3o/?igshid=gap71pi5r6vaWe are sending love and light to Scarface and we hope for a speedy full recovery!
