Serena Williams is glowing!
While on vacation, the tennis star shared a series of unfiltered photos via Instagram. In the photos, Serena is rocking a skimpy black dress that shows her thighs. She says she and her family took an impromptu trip to Athens. She writes, “we took a impromptu trip to Athens. These pics are totally untouched. You can see my arm is my color and my body glowing. I think Its a message to keep shining. Hope you shine bright today..”
Fans flooded the comments, showing Serena a lot of love. One fan wrote, ““That’s what I LOVE [three love emojis], QUEEN!!! [three crown emojis]. Your HUBBY, your BABY, and YOU!!!”
Back in 2018, Williams spoke with Elle Magazine about body positivity and the insecurities she faced growing up. She explains, ‘I was really struggling, and [my half-sister Yetunde] was like, “You know, everyone is different. You’re not Venus, and you’re never going to be Venus. You’re never going to be as thin as her, and that’s okay. And you’re never going to be as tall as her, and that’s okay. Nothing is wrong with that. You have a beautiful body on your own. You have a face”. And that’s when I first started being more comfortable with who I was.’ Since then- Serena has used fashion as a way of expressing and “celebrating” herself.
She also shared a series of photos with her husband and their baby girl. She captioned it, “just the three of us.”
