Snoop Dogg wants to tell his side of the story.
The hip-hop icon made headlines last weekend when he held a controversial performance at the University of Kansas during their annual Late Night in the Phog Rally.
Footage of Snoop Dogg’s performance surfaced online where he was seen performing with strippers on poles, displeasing the school’s athletic department. They would eventually release an apology in a statement.
Snoop Dogg has given his side of the story. In a recent interview, the rapper said, “When you pay for Snoop Dogg, you gonna get Snoop Dogg”.
The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper is mad at the University at all. “I just think it was more the publicity of what I did. They had to cover it up. And I respect them. And I wasn’t gonna put no smut on their name and say that they did anything wrong because they invited me to come to do what I do.”
