On New Year’s Day, it is being reported that Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s ex-fiance, passed away in Florida.
Reported on Fox, during a 9-1-1 call, Nick, 30, had black liquid coming from his mouth, which is why paramedics arrived at the scene. When help arrived, he wasn’t breathing and was taken to a hospital. He suffered a series of heart attacks before passing away at Altamonte Springs Hostpial.
His cause of death is suspected to be from an opioid overdose. Nick had reportedly been working on getting sober.
Nick was found liable for the death of Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of hip hop icons Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston. Back in July 2015, Bobbi Kristina passed away but medical examiners were unable to determine her cause of death. An autopsy report showed she had morphine, cocaine, alcohol, and prescription drugs in her system. Bobbi’s family believes Nick gave Bobbi a “toxic cocktail” before putting her face down in the tub. Nick was never charged for the case but was ordered to pay $36 million to Brown’s estate.
