The BET Hip-Hop awards went down over the weekend.
HOT 97, and media correspondent Melissa Gabrielle was live on the red carpet capturing everything that you missed.
Aside from what went down on the show, and the red carpet- it looks like things were heating up backstage. This may seem like a interesting match up but, Instagram model and the mother to Lil Baby’s son, Jayda Wayda, and LL Cool J got a chance to meet backstage at the awards.
The interaction was slightly awkward, and of course social media had a field day with the clip that surfaced online. The ShadeRoom posted the now viral video- and the comments lit up. After the two took their photo together, Jayda was seemingly busy as she hurried and attempted to enter her dressing room while LL was trying to shake her hand. “Nice meeting you” Jayda said, rushing into her dressing room. “Pleasure,” he replied as he accidentally shook her ponytail instead of her hand.
