At 51-years-old, Ginuwine still got it!
The living legend recently performed at the Lovers and Friends festival in Las Vegas. Ginuwine’s performance is going viral due to one move he did.
While the “Same Ol’ G” was on stage, he managed to do a spin move and then jumped into the air while doing a split with his legs. When he landed, the bass to his classic jam, “Pony” came on. Fans went wild, the moment was captured on video, and social media users are going nuts.
Lil Duval, the comedian chimed in and made a joke. He shared the video on his social media with the caption, “Chris Brown in 20 years.” Take a look:
Other users were shocked that he tried the dance move. One person wrote, “Lmao I’m still tryna figure out why did Ginuwine jump like that.” Another online user was “impressed”, and said, “Ginuwine is 51 years old. It’s impressive that he can still generate enough power to jump like that & finish his shows. Go head unc!.”
Someone else said the video has made her laugh nonstop, the user wrote, “That Ginuwine jump been having me crying since yesterday.” One person claimed they tried to be like the singer but was unsuccessful. They wrote, “Tried to do the Ginuwine jump and broke my foot.”
Ginuwine didn’t publicly respond as of yet. The throwback hip-hop and R&B festival has been postponed for the past two years. The two-day Live Nation event was held at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds this year. The headliners included Lauryn Hill, Usher, Ludacris, Lil Jon, Monica, TLC, and Mario. Other performers in attendance were Ashanti, Ja Rule, Lil Kim, Nina Sky, Ying Yang Twins, 112, SWV, TLC, Mase, Tweet, Ciara, Nelly, and more. Okay Player points out Foxy Brown or Brandy didn’t show up.
However, if you didn’t get to see him at his recent concert, he’s going on tour with Keith Sweat. Keith is doing it big for his 60th birthday and invited artists like Monica, Tevin Campbell, Tamar Braxton, 112, Ginuwine, and Silk to go on tour with him. It goes down in Tampa in July.
