Soulja Boy is getting a few things off his chest!
Big Draco caught wind of Akbar V’s “Sorry Not Sorry” freestyle. Akbar called Soulja Boy out in the song for not being from Atlanta but repping it.
Soulja said, “Um, Akbar, could you sit your nipple head ass down somewhere, b*tch,” he says. “F*ck you talkin’ bout Soulja Boy ain’t grow up in the A? B*tch, you don’t know me! You don’t know sh*t about me! You fathead, nipple head, waffle head bitch!” Akbar replied,
“@souljaboy now big Draco what I do to deserve this. I love #bigdraco it hurt me when I found out u wasn’t from Atlanta cause u rep us so well. We let you stay cause u had everybody cranking that Soulja. We know u not from the A. We adopted u. forever … you from Chicago bro.”
Soulja Boy replied, “Suck my d***! I’m from the Westside on my mama!” It fizzled down a bit with Soulja hopping on a video and saying he’s from Chicago, Atlanta, and Bompton. Akbar sent a final message saying, “I’m bout to get you a birth certificate made right now so on this very day u will be from Atlanta. Y’all make sure to get his album when it drops.”
The original song is from an Atlanta rapper named Omeretta The Great. She dropped it a few weeks ago, and in the music, she called out people who say they’re from Atlanta, but they’re not. Retta raps, “College Park is not Atlanta, Lithonia is not Atlanta, Clayco is not Atlanta, Decatur is not Atlanta.”
Last week, Latto hopped on the official remix. Latto reps the A, but she’s not from there. She name-dropped people for her remix and asked “how they not Atlanta” if they helped shape the city. Latto mentioned names like Migos, 21 Savage, Ciara, Ludacris, OutKast, and more.
Initially, people thought Latto was dissing people, but she wasn’t.
Y’all I’m not dissing the people I named on the verse!!! I’m saying so Migos is not Atlanta?? 21, Ciara, Ludacris etc because they technically not from the city but helped make it is what it is!
