Stevie J and Faith Evans are currently going through a public divorce.

The couple has only been married for three years, and decided to call it quits. Stevie J shared the news via Instagram. Since the announcement, the two was seen together social media, seemingly still in a relationship which left fans hopeful, but it looks like the divorce is still happening,

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Stevie J has requested Evans pay him spousal support, and if approved, the singer would be ordered to pay him a monthly fee. There isn’t an amount listed in the documents as of yet.

In the legal documents, the hitmaker producer cited the reason for the divorce as “irreconcilable differences” and claimed the two had been “separated since Oct. 19, 2021”. Stevie has also asked the court to “terminate” Faith’s ability to be awarded spousal support.

Meanwhile, Faith did an interview with TMZ and gave a brief update on the status of their relationship. “Stevie’s cool, he’s in the kitchen right now waiting for me to finish,” said Evans. “But I stopped discussing my personal life in the public back in the ’90s. [laughs] But he’s fine and I’m okay and it is what it is.”

Hopefully the two can end things amicably.
