Can I just start by I was waiting for this one for a MIN-IT!!! Ok as you know Dave East & Styles P dropped a dope ass project, #Beloved, and came up and did some necessary BAR talk with Flex and even went on Ebro to talk about why Drake was incorrect about hie Battle Rap Rule… But this time, they came to deliver Exactly WTF they was talking about!
So this night was ill AF to me, felt like a classic night unfolding in front of me! First as I’m turning the corner of the spot, How calls me, and lets me know he’s here, so I know the guys aren’t far behind. As we’re all upstairs talking I get a text from EP(Def Jam Exec) that he’s down stairs and that East is down stairs, so I go kick it with EP and see if East is ready but while Pizzle(E-Pizzle that is) and I are talking, Styles walks up lit up(oh Manhattan is lit rn), I get left hand side, finish up, East pops out the car then we all go upstairs!
As they are in opposite corners of the stu, going over the BARS they clearly Just put together, I get the call from Funk ‘I’m downstairs’… I know i’t about to go down so I get excited! I go get Flex upstairs and we sit, talk a little then Styles is like ‘let’s get to it though… and It was def Close to the Concrete!
