For those of you who thought Adidas would care about Kanye’s radical slavery comments stating that “it was a CHOICE”…you’re wrong.
Adidas will not get rid of the artist nor make any efforts in educating him about enslavement in the past, along with modern day injustices that are built to control people of color.
In an interview with Bloomberg TV, CEO Kasper Rorsted said :
“Kanye has been, and is, a very important part of our strategy and has been a fantastic creator…I’m not going to comment on every comment he or somebody else [is] making.”
“Kanye and the Yeezy are a very important part of our brand, from a revenue standpoint less so.”
