Yesterday (Nov. 25), T.I. sat down with Jada Pinkett-Smith and her mother for a special episode of Red Table Talk, where he addressed his controversial comments on accompanying his daughter Deyjah Harris to the gynecologist to ensure her hymen was intact and still a virgin.
Following the backlash online, he finally addressed his comments, and admitted his fault in embarassing his daughter.
“I began, from a place of truth,” he said. “I began to embellish and exaggerate. People took it extremely literal. If you put any of my reputation about who I am as a father and who I’ve been, I honestly thought people knew me better than that.”
His appearance did not rub everyone the same way. His ex, and Deyjah’s mother, Ms. Niko went on Instagram to comment on his appearance on Instagram.
“Whew chile, the narcissism,” she wrote.
