We previously reported that Tamar Braxton was hospitalized following a possible suicide attempt. The Blast reported, “ambulances arrived at the hotel and have transported the reality star to California hospital in Downtown L.A.” LAPD reportedly confirmed that they received a call around 9:45 P.M. in regard to a 43-year-old female who had a medical emergency listed as a “possible overdose.”

Following reports, Tamar’s sisters, The Braxtons, took to Instagram to ask for prayers for the family.
Tamar also allegedly sent her family a suicidal tweet before the alleged incident. The tweet read, “I am a slave. I do not own my life. My stories. My pictures. My thoughts of beliefs. I’ve asked my massa to free me. I’m threatened and punished for it. The way I see out is death.”
