Bedford Stuyvesant would not be the same without the infamous Biggie Mural that’s located on the corner building standing on Bedford Avenue and Quincy Street.

The Landlord changed his mind after the uproar that followed after it was announced that the mural would be taken down.

The artists made a statement claiming that the landlord had no clue what the significance of the artwork meant the world, let alone the community therefore we shouldn’t be too hard on him.

“To be honest, he just didn’t know how important Biggie is to Brooklyn…. He’s been very respectful by letting us use his wall for this long, and we want everyone else to respect him,” said Naoufal “Rocko” Alaoui.

A petition was made before the landlord could change his mind; nonetheless we’re glad he did.
