The City of Chicago is not happy with the outcome of Jussie Smollett’s case and they are planning on suing the actor for allegedly faking his attack.
As reported by TMZ, a letter was sent to Smollett’s people from the City of Chicago demanding that Smollett pays for the cost of the investigation of the case, which cost $130,000.
Jussie Smollett has refused to reimburse the city. Due to his refusal, the Law Department is currently in the process of drafting a civil complaint that will be filed in the Cook County’s Circuit Court.
