Back in February,  R.Kelly was arrested on 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a woman by the name of Valencia Love posted the bond for $100,000 for Kelly to be released from jail. Love is now looking for that money back.

When Love gave the money for Kelly’s release, she claimed to be a friend of the singer and gave four installments of $25,000 the night he turned himself in. As reported by Complex, Love, who owns a Chicago-based childcare facility and several restaurants, would not say where the money for Kelly’s bond came from but did say that the singer would have been freed eventually.

Since Kelly has been indicted back in July on 18 counts of child pornography, production, obstruction of justice and receipt of child pornography by federal prosecutors in New York and Chicago, Love is looking to be reimbursed.

On Tuesday, a Cook County Judge stated that Love won’t get her money back because the papers that she signed stated that she could lose her money.

Love’s lawyer claims that Love didn’t know that she signed papers stated that the money could be used for Kelly’s legal fees. Due to that Love may never see that money again.
