Three Dead After Madden NFL 19 Tournament Shooting In Florida [VIDEO]

What was supposed to be a day celebrating one of the most popular video games of all time, became a day of tragedy for those participating in the Madden tournament in Jacksonville, Floriday on Sunday (Aug 27).

24-year-old David Katz, known better by his gamertag “RavensChamp” and “Bread” opened up gunshots during a Madden NFL 19 tournament at a Florida mall. Three people were killed, and nine other injured including Katz who died after a self inflicted gunshot wound according to Jacksonville Police.

The incident was heard live as the tournament was being livestreamed through Twitch, and can be heard with people screaming, and running for safety.

According to reports, Katz was playing in the tournament and began shooting after losing.
