Last weekend, the much anticipated live-action version of ‘The Lion King’ was released in theaters. The movie included stars such as Seth Rogen, Donald Glover, James Earl Jones, and Beyonce.
Beyonce also released a Lion King-inspired album, ‘The Lion King: The Gift’, which features appearances from Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Donald Glover. One feature that wasn’t relatively accepted was Tierra Whack. One Twitter user asked “Like why is Tierra Whack on this album? Could’ve easily found a rapper in Africa with a better story on these bars.” Whack responded back to the user saying “Shut Up, you just mad that Beyonce ain’t choose you”. See post below:
