A petition has been circulating around the Internet, in hopes of freeing rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. The Brooklyn rapper has yet to be released from prison.
Lanez and A Boogie both took to their Instagram to share the petition from change.org. Both artists have been heard on 6ix9ine songs, so it’s only right they show support.
Reportedly, 6ix9ine’s attorney Lance Lazarro put together a $1.5 million bail package with the hopes of convincing the judge to release the rapper at his next hearing on Jan. 22.
The rappers federal trial is expected to begin on Sept. 4, 2019.
