This is tragic.

TMZ reports a relative of Floyd Mayweather’s girlfriend died by suicide at the boxer’s Las Vegas condo. Jarret Johnson, 24, was reportedly discovered by a friend on August 22. According to a source, the report says they arrived approximately at 4:30 pm, and the article says Jarret hung himself. The friend called law enforcement, but when they responded, Jarret passed away.

It’s not clear if Jarret was living at the Vegas condo. Floyd is reportedly distraught, as they built a bond over the years.

Jarret was a college football player for the Lindenwood Lions and played multiple positions. His former team shared a sweet message on Twitter. It says, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of former Lion Jarrett Johnson in this difficult time. Once a Lion, Always a Lion.”

Supporters shared their condolences with broken hearts and prayer hand emojis. One user spoke on Jarret and said, “Jarrett was an incredible student for us, he was liked by everyone.” Another person wrote, “Prayers for the family and students and staff that knew him.”

The publication also notes that Jarret’s family had been struggling over the years after Jarret’s brother lost his life in 2019. Two years later, the family is met with another tragedy

Floyd hasn’t publicly spoken out yet. Story developing. We’ll keep you updated.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Johnson family at this time.
