Trayvon Martin To Be Honored With A Street Named After Him In Front Of His High School

Trayvon Martin’s memory will forever live on. 

It has been reported that a street will be named after the slain teen in front of the Miami high school he attended. 

Trayvon Martin Avenue will be placed on Northeast 16th Avenue between Ives Dairy Road and Northeast 209th Street. According to the Miami-Dade commissioners, the renaming of the street will take place before the end of the year. 

Trayvon Martin was 17- years- old when he was shot and killed by George Zimmerman as he was returning home from the store. 

Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges in the killing of Trayvon Martin.
