Trina’s A&R Reginald Saunders wrote a lengthy IG post about Nicki Minaj being a deceiver” and a “manipulator.”

This attitude came ever since Nicki hopped on Megan Thee Stallion’s single “Hot Girl Summer,” which was released last week. Trina and Nicki did a song together a few months ago, “BAPS,” and according to Saunders, Nicki didn’t give Trina the same energy she gave Megan.

In Nicki’s defense, she addressed the situation on her radio show and said that she was available to do the video and wanted to shoot it before she got busy promoting her “Megatron” single. During the show, Nicki also asked Trina’s team about the video budget for “BAPS” and there wasn’t one. A lot of Nicki’s decisions were based on business, and shouldn’t have been taken personally.

“BAPS” didn’t receive the same love “Hot Girl Summer” and that’s not Nicki’s fault. The Queen can’t make people rock with the record.

People feel Nicki should “support” Trina more since the veteran rapper supported her when she was coming up. Nicki reminded people that she does support but when she doesn’t support in the way people want, that’s when people get mad.

Trina hasn’t addressed the situation publicly yet. She posted a Tweet of a meme saying that she owes herself an apology for accepting less than what she deserves.
