TSA has some new guidelines for passengers willing to fly out. These guidelines are being put into place to limit physical contact between TSA Agents and passengers. They include travelers being able to scan their own boarding passes, and they will also be able to remove any restricted items from their own luggage. The guidelines also state that carry-on food items must be kept separate and store in a clear bag. Keys, cellphones, and wallets can be kept in the carry-ons. TSA released a statement about the rules, “In the interest of TSA frontline workers and traveler health, TSA is committed to making prudent changes to our screening processes to limit physical contact and increase the physical distance as much as possible.” It has been reported the 0ver 500 TSA agents have tested positive for COVID-19. Agents are required to wear face masks and gloves at all times.
