tWitch's Wife And Ellen DeGeneres Speaks Out Following His Passing

Dancer, and DJ from The Ellen Show Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss has passed away at age 40.

According to TMZ the entertainer died from an apparent suicide. The reports claim Stephen’s wife Allison Holker frantically ran into an LAPD station, stating that he husband had left their home without his car- which she says was unlike him.

Police then got a call for a shooting at a LA hotel in which they found Stephen with reported self-inflicted gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead.

tWitch's wife, Allison Holker, issues a statement following his passing. "It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us," Holker said in a statement to E! News. "Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."

"To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt," she continued. "I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children."

Ellen also spoke out following his passing. "I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children - Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia."

He was a dancer on the hit show “So You Think Can Dance,” and had a role in “Magic Mike XXL.” He leaves behind a wife and three children. May he rest peacefully.
