We recently reported that a SUV allegedly registered in YG’s name was involved in a deadly shoot-out turned police chase.
On July 3rd, a black Escalade was pulled over for reckless driving. Police received complaints of the driver being under the influence as well. The traffic stop took a turn for the worse, when gunshots were fired and a high-speed police chase took place.
The incident ended with a police officer shot, and a man killed. It was unclear if YG was in the car during the incident.
The Cali rapper took to his Instagram to clear up all rumors. “I was nowhere near the scene of this incident, I was in Hollywood recording studio all day. I was there until after midnight on the 4th of July.”
