Ellen DeGeneres is known for making dreams come true on her show, and this time she invited the Waffle House Hero, James Shaw Jr. to join her as a guest.
29 year-old Shaw is known for disarming an active shooter who shot and killed four people at a Waffle House in Antioch, Tennessee.
Shaw was injured in the process, nonetheless stopped the criminal from taking more lives on that tragic night.
Not only did Shaw save lives, he started a GoFundMe account to help pay for the funerals of those who were killed at the Waffle House.
Although the president of the United States has not recognized Shaw for being a great citizen, Ellen DeGeneres invited him on her show and surprised him with his favorite player Dwyane Wade, along with a CHECK for his amazing deed.
