Waka Flocka has been receiving tons of backlash recently after recent comments in which he claimed that he was not “black.”

The rapper sat down with Ebro in the Morning last week, where he discussed kneeling for the flag and race with the crew.

“I have no African decendant in my blood,” he said. “I am a native American. Literally I am a Cherokee, I’m a Blackfoot, I’m a Red-Tail Indian that’s just what’s in my blood. The rest is European.”

He then echoed those sentiments later in the day in another interview.

In response, Waka Flocka stayed woke and went on Instagram to clear up the comments while continuing to bring knowledge to the people.

I stand on my words IM NOT BLACK, I told y’all from the beginning of my rap career.”
