If you watched the 1988 classic Coming To America you remember that song being sung as Akeem, who is played by Eddie Murphy, awaits for his arranged bride Princess Imani to walk down the aisle. Later own he asks her to meet in private, where he tries to get to know a little better before it all goes bad and she ends up hopping on one foot and barking like a dog.
The character was played by Vanessa Bell Calloway who was only 31-years-old at the time. A meme is going around the internet showing how she looks today, and it’s safe to say black definitely does not crack because at 61-years-old, Calloway looks like she can still play the role today!
