J.Cole’s Dreamville Festival has received great reviews from fans who attended thus far!
On Saturday, J.Cole decided to take a break from the turn up and give a heartfelt tribute to the LA native, Nipsey Hussle who was tragically murdered last week.
Cole performed “Love Yourz” from his 2014 Forest Hills Drive album in dedication to Nipsey. During the song , Cole just sat on a chair with a blank stare on his face before he spoke about the untimeley passing of the West Coast legend.
“I just seen footage yesterday of all types of different sets and hoods walking together in L.A. to pay homage and pay respect to Nipsey Hussle,” Cole said to the crowd. “So, I need us to do the same thing tonight.”
With the help of a live band, back up singers, and various clips and photos on Nipsey Hussle playing on the big screen, Cole delivered a wonderful performance for Nipsey.
RIP NIPSEY HUSSLE.
