WELP! Things Get Awkward & Kodak Black Walks Out Of The Interview [VIDEO]

Kodak Black on Hot 97 Ebro in the Morning

Things got a bit awkward on Ebro in the Morning earlier today.

Kodak Black sat down with the crew to talk about his upcoming album, his sound, and more on the program.

The conversation started out with the rapper addressed allegations of raping a woman in South Carolina. With the trial date set to begin in April 2019, he claimed he had “the case in control.”

He also discussed his single “No Flockin’” which he admits he didn’t intend for it to blow up, it was just him making fun of his friends, and Cardi B using the track as inspiration for her hit single “Bodak Yellow.”

“I really don’t like that song though,” he said. “I was really just saying anything. I was just clowning them. And I always got to perform that song.”

The 21-year-old then discussed him being able to be free as he enjoys his press run, XXXTentacion, and the success of the single ZeZe. He also reacted with happiness after learning that he was featured on Jay-Z’s year end playlist.

Before leaving things got tense when the topic went back to the topic of sexual assault, and he decided to leave the interview before its official end.

His album Dying to Live carries features from Juice WRLD, Lil’ Pump, Offset and more and is set to be released Friday.
