Jordan Peele decided to change things up a bit when it comes to his invitations. The award winning director has been sending out a pair of golden scissors to people as a marketing ploy to promote his upcoming movie ‘Us’. The scissors also comes with a card inviting those to “Join the untethering”.
The movie Us is the much scarier follow-up to Peele’s award winning movie “Get Out”. The movie is set to star Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke as well as Emily Moss and Tim Heidecker. It is focused on a mother and father, played by Nyong’o and Duke, who take their family on a beach house vacation to get them to unwind a bit but as night falls they receive a visit from some unwanted guests.
The movie is due to be released in theaters on March 15th, 2019. Here’s a look at some of the people who received their pair of scissors.
