Recently we celebrated the 18th year anniversary of the popular show “Girlfriends.”

Back in 2000 the hit show aired on the UPN network and its successor network, CW where it lived for 8 years.

The show surrounded the life of four Black women as they navigated life, careers, relationships and friendships.

The show was so relatable, and made you feel like those ladies were your real girlfriends.

‘Girlfriends’ featured actresses Tracee Ellis Ross, who played the character of Joan.

Persia White, who played Lynn, Golden Brooks who played Maya, lastly Jill Marie Jones who played Antoinette better known as Toni, and those were our girlfriends!

Let’s take a look at what the cast is up to now!

Tracee Ellis Ross, who is the daughter of the legendary Diana Ross, continued her acting career and is soaring as an Emmy nominated actress for the hit show ‘Black-Ish’
