A Colorado jogger is LUCKY to be alive after he was attacked by a mountain lion. The wild animal bit the jogger but the man put in his mind that he was NOT going to die.
Reported on a news site, the man was jogging on a trail on the West Ridge of the Horsetooth Mountain Open Space. The mountain lion attacked him from behind and managed to bite his face, legs, and arm.
The unidentified man reportedly used his bare hands and suffocated the animal in order to defend himself. The man was able to get himself to a hospital after the attack and his injuries are serious, but not life-threatening. It’s unclear if the lion was an adult or smaller.
What would YOU have done in that situation?
After additional investigation, including examination of the lion, we have confirmed the victim’s account that he was able to suffocate the animal while defending himself from the attack.
