Eminem is not playing around this time around.

At midnight, he surprised the hip hop world with a brand new album titled Kamikaze. The album is a direct comeback at a crop of new rappers, or as some would call “mumble” rappers, as well as anyone who has had something to say to him within the past year.

In the third verse of “Fall,” he spit some bars towards Budden.

Somebody tell Budden before I snap, he better fasten it, Or have his body baggage zipped, The closest thing he’s had to hits is smacking bitches, And don’t make me have to give it back to Akademiks, Say this shit is trash again, I’ll have you twisted like you had it when you thought you had me slippin’ at the telly, Even when I’m gettin’ brain, you’ll never catch me with a thot, Lacking with it, “he ain’t spit like this in his last s***”, Hoe, you better go back and listen…

Eminem’s reaction is to Joe Budden’s comments about the release of his album Revival in late 2017.

“So now, if I’m looking at how you rolled this out with your little Revival thing,” he said. “If I’m thinking about the last one, and the Recovery, if I’m just looking at now, I’m looking at the last 10 years of your career—oh, okay. You’re doing more than creating an album, you’re telling a story, now. So now, how I judge it is a little different. I have to wait and see what story you’re telling. Now I gotta see how Ed Sheeran fits in your story. I gotta see how the fuck P!nk, my nigga, fits in your story. I don’t know how Phresher. I don’t know how any of these people fit in what you are seeing. And from what I know, Em, it sounds trash. Even though it didn’t come with audio, we’re looking at it, and the common folk are saying, ‘This looks trash.’”
