Certain areas of New York City was lit up as a mysterious blue light lit the sky. According to reports, a ConEd transformer in Astoria, Queens, blew up which caused the light to fill the sky and left many people without power.
The light could be seen throughout Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx and many people who witnessed the light immediately took to social media to share their thoughts on what this light could be. See posts below.
