Is Joe Budden coming out of rap retirement?
The Jersey City native didn’t hop back on the mic to face off Eminem, but he might just return to give someone else a piece of his mind.
On the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, the MC said CyHi The Prynce “doesn’t want any type of smoke.” CyHi had challenged Budden to a $500,000 rap battle back in October.
After getting trolled by co-hosts Rory and Mal, Budden finally took it one step further.
“When Joe gets some time and if he put a record out, that will be the end of him,” he said. “Don’t get CyHi’s ass tore up.”
He also wants CyHi to put up his own money, and not use anyone elses in his circle.
“When he gets his own fuc*** money to put up, don’t bet me with Kanye money,” he said. “Get your pen and your money. That sound like Cassidy. In 2003 when I said Cassidy, you don’t want no fuckin’ smoke, you know what Cassidy had? His pen and Swizz (Beatz). No! Get your pen and get your money and come f*** with me. And this podcast will take a two-month break, and I will put CyHi’s ass in the ground off of retirement!”
