A rep for Will Smith denied giving August Alsina “his blessing” to be in a relationship with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
According to The Daily Mail, the Will’s rep says the rumor is “not true.”
Yesterday we reported that during a recent interview, Alsina, 27, opens up about falling in love with Jada, 45. He claims Will Smith approved of the love affair. “I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing,” he says in the interview.
According to Will’s team, this rumor is false. A representative for Jada also denied these accusations.
During the interview, he was asked if it’s disappointing that Jada doesn’t claim the situation, he replied, “I really can’t even get into the thought of that because I am only responsible for myself, right,” Alsina explained. “And I am only responsible for, you know. what I do. When I am repressing and suppressing things and it starts to affect me. I have to address it. I just always stay solid because I never want to be the person to start confusion.”
