After the NBA All-star festivities last year, Trey Songz was involved in a dispute with a woman named Adrea Buera, who claimed the Virginia born singer assaulted her, resulting in numerous injuries. Previously Songz has denied the reported altercation, saying he was “lied on; ” however, it seems as though Songz may be attempting to get the case thrown out entirely.
While Trigga has denied the accused crime before, he has never explicitly given an alternative narrative, until now. According to new court documents that were gathered by The Blast, Trey Songz is citing self defense as the reason for the altercation.
He stated in the documents that he only used the necessary amount of force needed to protect himself in the situation. and that his lawyers previously advised him not to speak on the matter, nonetheless, he is trying to set an example for those he surrounds himself with.
As of now, the case has yet to be resolved.
